Harvest Festival Poster Redesign

Here I've refreshed an old advertisement for a local harvest festival. Darker colors in an autumn theme, a photo of squash, and a wood-grain texture all create visual interest while projecting a cozy autumn theme. Cartoon illustrations of a squash and an apple pay homage to the original design and help convey the kid-friendly nature of the event. I also broke up some of the chunks of text in the original design to emphasize more important information, such as the Fruit-Pie Competition, which requires an extra action from would-be participants. I also added information about the location and time from the event's website so that my ad could easily be used as a poster, flyer, or online.
